Frank James Freudeman, 91, passed away December 4, 2010. Mr. Freudeman was born in Akron on August 20, 1919 to Chris and Anne (Emfield) Freudeman and was the last of the North Hill Freudeman brothers. After graduating from Hower Trade School , he served during WWII as a Master Sergeant in the Army-Air Force in Europe . His trade was in sheet metal and belonged to the Sheet Metal Workers Local 33 for over 65 years. He lived many years in Northampton before moving to Cuyahoga Falls . He had a love of woodworking and will be greatly missed for the presents that he continually made.
Preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Joan Hunnell, he is survived by his wife of 68 years, May Bell; son-in-law and wife, Carl and Dottie Hunnell of Cuyahoga Falls; grandsons, Frank (John) Hunnell of Springfield, OH and Jeff (Krista) Hunnell of Akron; great-grandchildren, Bryan, Abbey and Charles Hunnell and nieces, nephews and neighborhood friends.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, Dec. 8 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, where friends may call beginning at 12:00 noon Wednesday, Dec. 8. A private interment will follow in Northampton Cemetery . Memorials may be made to Hospice of VNS 3358 Ridgewood Rd. Akron, OH 44333-6118.
