Frank Parker Welsh

Frank Parker Welsh of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed away on January 15th after a lengthy illness. 

Born March 5, 1942, in Harrison County, Frank was the son of the late William and Leora Welsh. He is survived by sons Bryan Welsh and Brent Welsh (Heidi), and daughters Michele Hyder (Sean) and Kristin Welsh, grandchildren Alexander, Nicholas and John Hyder and Maria Welsh, brother Duane Welsh (Linda) as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by older brother William. 

Frank graduated Jewett High School, class of 1960, and Ohio State University in 1965. He taught high school mathematics and coached football before embarking on his career in telecommunications with Ohio Bell and AT&T. 

Frank was a longtime fan of Buckeyes football and enjoyed watching sports with his grandchildren. He always looked forward to spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 

A private family service will be held on January 23, 2024, followed by burial at Cadiz Union Cemetery in Cadiz, Ohio.
