Franklin D. Neff, Sr.

Franklin D. Neff, Sr., 89, passed away on February 16, 2023, surrounded by family. He was born in Pool, WV, son of the late Alexander and Lula (Bennett) Neff.  Frank proudly served in the United States Army.  He retired from Ford Motor Co. with 33 years of service.  Frank loved singing and playing his guitar in various bluegrass bands for over 60 years.  He eagerly anticipated hunting with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed his life and lived it to the fullest.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Cora Sue Neff; son Jason Brock Neff; 13 siblings, and many nieces and nephews.

Frank will be missed by his children, Franklin Jr. (Melisa) of Deerfield, Richard (Mary) of Cuyahoga Falls, and Christina of Kent; grandchildren, Ryan (Melissa), Laura, Jennifer, Al, Zac (Brittany), Mason (Sarah), Kendra, Chessa; great-grandchildren, Landen, Jaxten, Ali, Scarlett N., Colton, Scarlett B., Maren, and Chase; and many other family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 5 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls where friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
