Gary E. Kinsey

SILVER LAKE – Gary E Kinsey, 79, passed away November 20, 2022. He was born in Akron, OH to the late Taylor and Colette Kinsey and was a longtime Silver Lake resident. Gary retired from BP of America after 42 years of service, where he worked in various engineering and contracting compacities, including work on the Alaskan Pipeline. He was a much beloved member of the Martha Mary Guild, Silver Lake Garden Club, Silver Lake Historical Society, advisor to Silver Lake Estates and member of the Wesley Sunday School Class. He was also a member of the Cadillac & LaSalle Club.

Preceded in death by his parents; uncle, Evan B. Steiner. He is survived by his sister, Kay L. Sinclair; 5 nieces and very special friends, Priscilla Drach and Fred W Johnson.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Friday November 25, 2022 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A funeral service will be held 10 AM on Saturday November 26 at the First United Methodist Church 245 Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Interment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and other remembrances, donations in his honor may be made to the Silver Lake Police Association.
