Gary Martin Kuhn II

CUYAHOGA FALLS- Gary Martin Kuhn II, 51, passed away January 17, 2024.

Gary was born December 28, 1972, in Toledo, Ohio to Gary Martin I and Carol Jean Kuhn. He attended Macomber-Whitney High School and Start High School. He was an excellent athlete in multiple sports but excelled in football. He was a 1992 graduate. He met Belinda Quintanilla in 1990 and became high school sweethearts. The two were married in 1996 and 27 years together, making it 28 on February 14, 2024.

He went on to attend Michigan State University on a scholarship for football. He was tight end and linebacker for the team until his injury that cut his career short. He loved his Spartan family and Spartan Dawgs through his life until his passing.

Gary enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, fishing, and taking his family camping. He also coached his youngest son in football for 2 years, as well as coaching other youth in many sports. He was a coach by heart and a people person, striking up conversation with everyone. He loved his family and enjoyed his time with his grandkids. He loved animals and had a special place in his heart for his dog, Bella and cat, Katnip.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Belinda; children, Gary Kuhn,26, Brandon Kuhn,24, Kayla Kuhn,21, and Sierra Kuhn,19; grandchildren, Xavier,2, and Kacey,1; mother, Carol Kuhn; sister, Montana Sanchez; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by, Gary Kuhn I, who he had a special relationship with.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 12:00 until 2:00 pm, with a service immediately following at 2:00 pm at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, 44221.
