Gary W. Vincent

Cuyahoga Falls- Gary W. Vincent, 62, passed away July 11, 2014 at his residence with his family at his side. Gary was born in Sutton, WV and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls for 40 years, moving here from Parkersburg, WV. He had worked in the waste industry for 40 years, most recently at RandR Sanitation for 7 years as general manager and previously at Waste Management for 30 years. His memberships include: Cuyahoga Falls Moose 918, Mogadore Moose 1082, VFW Ralph Huff Post 1062, American Legion Charles Faust Post 281 and Cuyahoga Falls Eagles 2207. He enjoyed flea marketing and traveling.

Preceded in death by his brother, Roger Vincent, he is survived by his wife of 24 years, Carol; children, Annette (Greg) Miner and Rusty Swigart, both of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Megan Fay, Alicia Swigart, Daniel Fay, Joshua Swigart, Lena Swigart, Blake (Carla) Miner and Brandon (Kayla) Miner; 1 great-grandson on the way, Anthony Vincent Swigart; parents, William and Alma Vincent of Parkersburg, WV; brother, Richard (Connie) Vincent of Woodsville, OH; sisters, Donna Sayger of Parkersburg, WV and Patricia (Paul) Bailey of Orville; brother, Michael (Margaret) Vincent of Parkersbury, WV. He also leaves his Florida family.
The Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 15 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday July 16 Rev. Brett Bartels officiating. Friends may also call beginning at 10:00 am Wednesday. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peninsula.
