CUYAHOGA FALLS -George B. "Skip" Wells II, 67, passed away August 15, 2007. Mr. Wells was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1966. He had worked at GenCorp as a Lab Technician and Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. as a Lab Technician until the late 70's and was formerly involved with Cuyahoga Falls Little League. He was a bayonet collector, a member of The Society of American Bayonet Collectors and loved his 1970 Pontiac LeMans. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Tina Wells of New Franklin; daughter, Catherine Ford of Cuyahoga Falls; Kellie (Mike) Koubek of Akron, who he loved just like a daughter and grandchildren, Hunter Elizabeth Wells, Cody Harris and Taylor Ford.
Cremation has taken place. The Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 am Saturday in Rose Hill Burial Park, Rev. Harvey Mehaffie officiating.
