George Edward Swope Sr.

CUYAHOGA FALLS – George E. Swope Sr., 80, passed away January 20, 2022. He was born in Johnstown, PA to the late David and Lorain Swope and resided in Uniontown for the past 42 years prior to moving to Cuyahoga Falls. George was a Vietnam Veteran serving his country in the U.S.M.C. He owned and operated Victory Services. He enjoyed golfing and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Barry; he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Kathie; children, Jaqueline (Bryan) Butcher, George Jr. (Sharon) and Thomas (Amy); adopted daughter, Tiffany (Liz) Jones; grandchildren, Bryan Jr., Brooke, Megan, Gavin, Matthew, Nathan and Addison; 1 great-grandchild due in June; siblings, David, Scott (Donna), Lori (Jack) Beckwith and Karen (Ray) Norris.
Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Monday January 24, 2022 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, where a funeral service will be at 11 AM on Tuesday January 25.
