Gerald Collins

Cuyahoga Falls- Gerald Nelson Collins, 51, passed away November 20, 2013. Mr. Collins was born in Barberton and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of his life. He had worked as a janitor for B. F. Goodrich and previously for R. B. Stout. He enjoyed gardening and was involved with the Community Club House for Brain Injury People.
Preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Peggy Collins and step-mother, Florence Collins, he is survived by his siblings, Kelly Collins (Teri) of Kent, Chrystal Santa Maria (Jim) of Hamilton, OH and Daryl Murphy (Tina) of Columbus and step-sisters, Wendy Hale (Jeff) , Jody Litz (Jim) and Renee Duke , all of Akron.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, Nov. 30 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, Pastor Mark Hadinger officiating. Final resting place Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Nick Kot Charity for TBI, 13636 S. Meath Cir., Homer Glen, IL 60491.
