Gerald Martin

SILVER LAKE – Gerald G. Martin (Jerry), 88, died peacefully December 8th, surrounded by his family.

He was born February 24th, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Bowling Green University, where he met his beloved wife Bunny, who proceeded him in death. After serving as Army 2nd Lieutenant in the Korean War, Jerry had a long career in lumber and building product sales. He and Bunny raised their family in Silver Lake, surrounded by good friends.

Jerry was an avid reader, Browns fan and all-around handyman. He enjoyed listening to jazz, dancing with his wife and celebrating the 4th of July, He will be remembered for his honesty, generosity and deep devotion to his family.

Jerry is survived by daughters, Beth Hollis (Warren), Barb Edgar (George) and Amy Poole (Scott) and grandchildren, Jon and James Hollis; Ellie, Madeline and Jeffrey Edgar.

The family will be having private Services. Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
