Geraldine Hughes

Geraldine G. Hughes, 96, passed away October 6, 2010 in Port St. Lucie, FL. Mrs. Hughes was born in Akron and had resided in Akron and Cuyahoga Falls most of her life, having graduated from Akron West High School (now Buchtel). She had worked as a senior underwriter/manager for Burkhart Insurance Service of Akron and was a member of the Pilgrim United Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by her husband, Harold E., parents, Thomas and Florence Reilly and brother, Harry E. Reilly, she is survived by her nephew and his wife, Todd and Donna Reilly of Port St. Lucie, FL; great-niece, Courtney Reilly of Little River, SC and 2nd cousin, Judy Phillips of Northampton, Mass.

There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 10:00 am Saturday, October 30 in the Pilgrim United Church of Christ 130 Broad Blvd. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Rev. Kirk Bruce officiating. Final resting place Glendale Cemetery. Memorials may be made to her Church in her memory.
