CUYAHOGA FALLS- Gladys L. Harp, 78, passed away July 27, 2014. She was born in Cumberland, Maryland and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 64 years. Gladys was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #2207 and enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling and her cats, Bonnie and Clyde.
Preceded in death by the love of her life, Roy J; brother, Raymond Alderton; she is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Michael) Moran of Cuyahoga Falls, Kelly Chipman of AZ, Cheryl (Owen) Williams of TX, Tracey (Mark) Beckelman of CA, and Patty Lynch of AZ; son, Alvin Lynch Jr. of CA; step-daughters, Debra Cianciola of Caldwell, OH and Sherri Sommers of Green; step-sons, James (Sue) Harp of Cuyahoga Falls and Steven (Kerry) Harp of MN; brother, Charles E. (Debby) Lee of Stow; sister-in-law, Dianne Alderton; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4 -7 PM on Thursday July 31, 2014 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221, where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday August 1. Dr. Richard Hasler will be officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Good Neighbors Inc., PO Box 233, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44222.
