Glendora Kuhne

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Glendora Elizabeth Kuhne, 92, died peacefully Thursday morning, January 4, 2007. Glendora was born in Chicago and lived most of her life in Akron and Cuyahoga Falls. She was a 1933 graduate of North High School, retired from Acme #10 as head cashier in 1976 with 25 years service and was a member of Northampton United Methodist Church where she was involved with many groups. Her favorite was quilting with all of her dear friends. She touched the hearts of everyone who knew her and was truly loved by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Frank and is survived by her daughters, Rita Nommay of Indianapolis, IN, Joan Oliver and Kay (Dave) Shuber, all of Cuyahoga Falls; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Bud (Pat) Lundstrom of Akron and many nieces, nephews and many friends.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday in Northampton United Methodist Church, Rev. David Scavuzzo officiating. Friends may also call at church for one hour prior to service time. Entombment Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Northampton UMC 852 W. Bath Road Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 or Royal Family Kids Camp though the church.
