Gloria Jean Mullins

STOW- Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Gloria Jean Mullins, was called home to heaven on March 5, 2023, at the age of 72.

Gloria was a bright, beautiful light who brought so much joy and laughter to the world.  She had a playful sense of humor with a little bit of sass.  She fought her health challenges with grace, and she never stopped shining throughout her difficult journey the last few years.

Gloria’s love for others was evident in the relationships she formed during her life.  Together, with her husband of 34 years, Bob Mullins, they were foster parents to many children over 25 years.  Prior to that, Gloria worked for many years in the meat department at ACME until retiring to focus on her family.  Later in life, she graduated from the Carnegie Institute and became a Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor, Medical Assistant, and also taught classes at the Carnegie Institute.

Gloria will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Bob; daughter, Michelle (Andy) Olbrysh; grandchildren, Chris Manchester, Autumn Manchester, and Anna Olbrysh; sister, Norma Carver; her beloved dog Marley; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

A memorial service to honor Gloria’s life will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home with Fr. Mike Matusz presiding.  Guests are welcome to visit with the family prior to the memorial service from 11 am until noon.
