Gloria Whittington

STOW- Gloria A. Whittington, 69, passed away May 1, 2008. Mrs. Whittington was born in Akron and had resided in Stow most of her life. She retired from Konica (Photomat) in 1995 with 20 years service, having worked in delivery.

Preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Day and sister, Jackie Porter, she is survived by her husband of 30 years, Paul; sons, Gerald (Danette) Cozart of Tallmadge, Ronald Cozart of Barberton and John (Rebecca) Cozart of Jacksonville, FL; daughters, Cynthia Cozart of Barberton and Dorothy Cozart of Stow; step-children, Kenneth S. Whittington, Deborah Whittington, Carolee (Gary) Gase and Timothy Whittington; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and sister, Joy Lapinskas.

There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday in Chestnut Hill Memorial Park, Dr. Richard A. Hasler officiating.
