Harold Z. Taylor, 89, died May 13, 2007. Mr. Taylor was born in Zanesville and was a longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls. He had worked as a chemist for Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. for over 31 years and was a member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ for 60 years. He had volunteered for the National Parks and Hale Farm and enjoyed traveling all over the world and taking pictures of wild plants.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan; great-grandsons, Aidan Ing and Tristan Poston and brother, David Taylor and is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Bruce Hunt of Las Vegas, Nevada and Alice and Tom Woodburn of Cuyahoga Falls; son and daughter-in-law, John and Kathleen Taylor of Tallmadge; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, 1 nephew and close friend, Irene Raupach.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm Thursday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday in the Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 130 Broad Blvd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Rev. Kirk Bruce officiating. Interment Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Pilgrim United Church of Christ.
