Harold Wilson

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Harold G. Wilson, 85, passed away very peacefully August 31, 2012. He was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 53 years, serving his country in the U.S. Navy and was the owner of Wilson Tile. He was member of the Bricklayers Union for over 50 years, Lodge 735 F.&A.M. and the First United Methodist Church. He was also past president of the Evening Kiwanis Club and volunteered at the Coleman foundation.

Preceeded in death by parents, Harold and Mary Wilson; survived by wife, Phyllis of 63 years; children, David (Pamela) Wilson of Kent, Caron (Randy) Slusser of Akron and Mark ( Rhonda) Wilson of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Matt, Scott, Sarah, Maggie, Kyle and Kaitlin; 6 great-grandsons; sister, Doris Irwin of St. James NC; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call 2 hours prior to a 1 PM Funeral Service on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Rev. Marvin Brown will be officiating. Interment Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of other remembrances memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church 245 Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221 or the Coleman Foundation 5982 Rhodes Rd. Kent, OH, 44240.
