Harry F. Hausch, 85, died March 28, 2005 peacefully at Akron City Hospital. He was born in Akron, OH in 1919 and had resided in Tallmadge since 1972, moving there from Akron. He was a tool and die maker for Ford Motor Company for 26 1/2 years and retired in 1981.
He was a long-time member of the First United Church of Christ (Formerly First Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ) where he was an active member of many years and a deacon. In recent years, he was a member of the Tallmadge First Congregational Church. He was also a member of the Akron Liedertafel and sang in their choir, was a Veteran of WW2 having served with the U. S. Army and was a member of the Prime Timers of Tallmadge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma (Sauter) and Gottfried Hausch; sister Catherine Grau and brothers, Walter and Eugene. Harry is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Grace; children, Margaret Handin (Phil)of Oakland, CA, Barbara Rowles of Akron and Fred Hausch of Stow. Harry proudly had 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Pauline Leicht of Akron.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where Services of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dr. John M.
