Helen Marino

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Helen Eileen Marino, 92, passed away May 27, 2018.
She was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for 18 years, worked as a manager for Del Franklin Dry Cleaners and was a member of St. Eugene's Catholic Church. She graduated from Coventry High School. Helen loved to play cards, read, travel, and cook. She enjoyed watching sports and was the Cavs number one fan. One of her greatest joys in life was watching her sons and grandchildren play sports, dance, and cheer. She rarely missed an event. Helen in keeping with her wishes, wanted no services, but she wanted her family and friends to know how much she loved them. She treasured her moments with each of them.

Preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Angelo 'Andy"; she is survived by her sons, Dale (Vicki) Marino, Richard (Debbie) Marino; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild, best friend Patty Lehrman, and special niece Gracie Joseph.

The family asks for no gifts or flowers. A charitable donation in Helen's name may be made to Heather Knoll Retirement Community, who took such great care of Helen. Helen loved Jesus, and was strong in her faith. Helen is with Andy for the first time in 30 years. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
