Hilda Authenreith

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Hilda V. Authenreith (Goggy), 89, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away on February 15, 2011 surrounded by her loving family.
Hilda was born on March 1, 1921 in Duke Dom, TN. to McKinley and Verda (Vincent) Bynum. She retired from PCA in 1983 and enjoyed the extra time she could spend with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. John's Episcopel Church and belonged to St. Teresa's Guild and helped with "soups on" for many years. In her retirement she volunteered at Akron Children's Hospital and loved her time there as well as the many good friends she made. She also treasured her old friends.

Hilda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward, sons Bruce Rounds, Roger Rounds; sister, Alwayne Bynum and Brother Douglas Bynum; She is survived by daughter, Terry (David) Bickel; daughter-in-law, Patti Rounds; grandchildren, Kimberly Rounds, Dana Cianciola, Scott (Wendi) Rounds, Lisa Fazenbaker, Charles Bickel, Laura (Chuck) Smith; great-grandchildren, Tricia, Hannah, Joshua, Jacob and Jonah Rounds, Kristin, Adam and Zach Bickel. Devin (Megan), and Audra Smith and great-great grandson, Benjamin, and many nieces and nephews.

She will be dearly missed by her family, but we take comfort in knowing that she joins her loved ones in heaven and that she will suffer no more. A special thank you to all the caregivers that lovingly cared for Hilda these last several years.

A private family service conducted by chaplain Jim Walter has taken place, memorials may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, 2220 2nd St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Arrangements handled by Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
