Hoyt Raper

Cuyahoga Falls- Hoyt Raper, 86, passed away January 21, 2014 at his daughter's home in Spring Hill, Florida. He was born in Cherokee County, NC and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1951, before moving to Florida to be with his family. He had worked as a foreman for Iron Workers Local 17 for 40 years, was a former member of the Moose and was a Veteran of WWII having served with the U. S. Army.

Preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Bill Hull of Spring Hill, FL; grandchildren, Tiffany, Stephanie and William Hull, Heather (Tim) Nicholson and Don Hull and many brothers and sisters living and predeceased.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, Jan. 24 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Sat. Jan. 25. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society, 525 North Broad St. Canfield, OH 44406.
