Irene E. Sells

Irene E. Sells, 82, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 11, 2023.  Irene retired from Alside in 1998 with 38 years of service.  She enjoyed playing slot machines at the casinos with her husband, playing bingo with friends and family, and watching scary movies.  She thoroughly enjoyed watching for hawks at home and while traveling.  Among her favorite vacation destinations were Las Vegas and Myrtle Beach.  Irene's strength, resilience, and love of God showed in everything she did and will be carried on by the many that she touched.  She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cloyd and Edna Schiele; brother, Harold Schiele; and son-in-law, Damon Toth.

Irene is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Billy D.; daughters, Ruth Toth and Susan Sells; grandchildren, Corey Toth, and Chelsea Toth; great-granddaughters, Salem Deeken and Abigail Toth; and granddog Peanut.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 1-3 pm at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.  A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 3 pm, also at the funeral home, with dear friend, Pastor Gary Minor officiating.  Private burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery.
