Irma Garrett

STOW - Irma Lillian Garrett, 94, passed away May 3, 2011.
Mrs. Garrett was born in Akron, OH and had resided the past 36 years in Stow, moving there from Cuyahoga Falls. She had worked as a beautician, bus driver and made aircraft parts during WWII, and was a member of the First Christian Church in Stow.

Preceded in death by her husband Getty, she is survived by her children, William of Stow, Ralph and Suzanne of Silver Lake, Marlene and Thomas O'Brien of Greensburg, PA; grandchildren Jason, Jaimy, Olivia (Stephen), Carly, Matt (Beth), David, Jamie and Paul; special niece Sandy Bent and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday May 6, in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls, Rev. Jonathan Rumburg officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the time of service on Friday May 6. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery. Arrangements handled by Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
