Irvin Kester

Irvin K. Kester, 81, died August 5, 2007. Mr. Kester was born in Akron where he had resided his entire life. He retired as a tire builder for B. F. Goodrich after 41 years service and was a veteran of WW2 having served with the U. S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Irene; children, Paul (Theresa) Kester of Munroe Falls, Alice (Terry) Fawley of Cuyahoga Falls and Timothy (Cindy) Kester of Fairlawn; grandchildren, Tony Kester, Jenny (Michael) Dee, Chris, Ryan and Justin Fawley, Brandon (Melissa) Kester, Starr (Kevin) O'Brien and Tina (Keith) Nelman; great-grandchildren, Logan Chaplain, Kayla Kester and Kenna O'Brien and brothers and sisters, Ellen (Fred) Appleman of Georgia, Bob (Bev) Kester of Akron, Marilyn (Rollie) Walk of North Carolina, Lois (Bruce) Tunnell of California, Ann Dibble of Akron and John (Linda) Kester of Warren and special friends, Harry and Dorothy Culbertson.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, Rev. Cynthia Danals officiating. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to Hospice Care Center 3358 Ridgewood Rd. Akron, OH 44333-6118.
