CUYAHOGA FALLS - Jack E. Chapman, 90, passed away June 2, 2015
He was born in Akron, OH and resided in Cuyahoga Falls all his life.
Jack worked as a Tire Builder for B.F. Goodrich. He enjoyed bowling with friends and family, gardening, and coached, mentored and influenced many over his lifetime.
He was a member of VFW Post 1062. He was a Navy veteran of WWII, serving with the Navy Sea Bees.
Preceded in death by Wife of 60 years, Helen K. Chapman and Sister, Evelyn Long; he is survived by Daughters, Barbara Ayers, Doreen (Jim) Haga, Becky (Frank) Crumrine, Tina Chapman, Son, Lenny (Lynda) Chapman, Twelve Grandchildren, Many Great-Grandchildren, Sister, Violet Smith.
Friends will be received Thursday, June 4, 2015 from, 4-7 pm in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM Friday at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1903 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223 with Fr .James E.Singler officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery.
The family would like to send special thanks to the loving caregivers at Bath Creek Estates. Their kindness, compassion, and personal care was greatly appreciated by Jack and his family.
