Jack B. Truby passed away in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on January 12th 2016 at the age of 95.
Jack is predeceased by his wife Doris of 61 years and his brother Bruce E. Truby.
Jack is lovingly remembered by his son Jack B Truby II of Northfield, Ohio; nephew, Bruce A. Truby and Kim Truby of Waddell, Arizona; sister in-law, Lois Koplin of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. And special family friend Ned Oberlin.
Jack was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio December 8th 1920, and served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was also employed at the Yeager Company and O'Neil's Department Store for a total of 35 years and then went on to work at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital for 8 years.
Jack enjoyed military history, specifically the Civil War and WWII. After becoming widowed he owned his first cat which became a great companion.
The memorial service and celebration of life will be held at Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on February 3, 2016 at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 130 Broad Blvd, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221 or the Cuyahoga Falls Fire Department's Rescue Squad.
