CUYAHOGA FALLS -James A. "Jimmy" Davis, was born February 5, 1946 and died January 27, 2007. The loving son of Bill and Harriet Davis, he was born in Akron and lived his entire life in Cuyahoga Falls . Jimmy was an employee of the sheltered workshop in Tallmadge known as Weaver School and Workshop his adult life and had many friends there. Jimmy was a Boy Scout in Troop 340 at Weaver School and his father was assistant scout master. He loved the Falls Fire Dept. and the firefighters treated him wonderfully. He attended C.Y.O. Camp Christopher every year for the last 30 years.
Jimmy won two gold medals at the Special Olympics in Columbus and many silver and bronze.
Preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Harriet Davis and sister, Jacqueline Davis Caskey, he leaves brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Peg Davis; brother, Donald Davis; brother-in-law, Frank Caskey; niece, Marie Davis; nephew, Patrick Davis and great-nieces and -nephews including Patrick, Lindsey, Chelsea and Olivia Davis.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. William Schukay who helped keep his with us so long and also the staff at Hickory Ridge.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm Monday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, Rev.
