SILVER LAKE- James E. Houser, 70, of Silver Lake passed away November 10, 2017.
He was born in Barberton, OH in 1947 to James A. and Hermina (Hunsicker) Houser.
Jim is survived by his wife, Sea; his sons, James R. of Silver Lake and William of Cuyahoga Falls; daughters, Alexandra Houser Vukoder of Bath and Halle Horne of Florida; son-in-law, Philip Vukoder and beautiful granddaughters, Violette Isabelle and Vivian Pearl Vukoder and Emma Rose Horne.
Jim studied at the University of Akron and retired after 38 years with the United States Post Office in Stow, OH. He was a talented amateur gourmet chef and often showed his love for his family and friends by cooking for them. He was an active member of the West Stow Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and will be missed while looking forward to Job 14:14,15.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Carol.
The family will receive friends 2pm Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Stow Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4092 Darrow Rd., Stow, OH 44224 where a memorial service will be held at 3:00pm.
