James M. Lukosavich

James M. Lukosavich passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 82, he was born in Akron, Ohio on May 31st, 1940 and was the oldest child of Catherine (nee Paulic) and Samuel G. Lukosavich.

He was a 1958 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and studied 2 years of mechanical engineering in a local Akron trade school. He worked for 38 years in the Mold Design Department of Firestone Tire and Rubber Company, retiring in 2002.

He was married to Ann M. Daugherty in 1961 and they were best friends until the end of his life and enjoyed traveling and having a great time with their high school friends Don and Pat Heflin.

He enjoyed taking his family to Long Beach Island at Beach Haven Terrace, New Jersey every summer in July for two weeks. He also was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Football fan and never missed watching a game.

One of his favorite adventures was going to northern Quebec to fish with his father-in-law Craig Daugherty and Brother-in-law Bill Sedars.

James was preceded in death by mother Catherine (nee Paulic) and father Samuel G. and is survived by his wife Ann M. Lukosavich (nee Daugherty) and sons Mark E. Lukosavich (Laura) and Scott J. Lukosavich, Grandsons Mark J. Lukosavich (Rupali) and Peter J. Blank and Great-Granddaughter Arya. Brother Edward Lukosavich and many nieces, and nephews.

A viewing will be held at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home at 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls on Friday January 27th between 2 pm and 4 pm and interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery at a date to be determined by the family.
