James E. Raupach, 73, died March 9, 2006. Mr. Raupach was born in Flintstone, MD and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1956. He was a self-employed barber at State Road Barber Shop for 20 years and later retired from Product Development. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and was a Veteran of the Korean War having served with the U. S. Army. He was also a member of BPOE 1923 and American Legion Charles Faust Post 281 and a life member of the American Motorcycle Assoc. He had officiated for both the Ohio Racing Assoc. and the AMA and was two time National Champion in motorcycle hill climbs.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Ann Raupach and parents, James M. and Bess Raupach and is survived by wife, Irene; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Carrie of Cuyahoga Falls, Brian and Laura of Mayfield Heights and Richard and Tiffany of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Phillip and Kyle, Katherine and Andrew, and Hannah and Coltin; brother, Herb of St. Cloud, FL; niece, Elizabeth Laliar and nephew, Raymond Raupach, both of St. Cloud, FL.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 9:00 pm Sunday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:30 pm Monday, Pastor Robert E.
