James Moore

AURORA EAST – James S. Moore, 85 passed away February 6, 2020. He was born in Byesville, OH to the late Fred and Ada Moore and resided in Aurora East for the past 50 years. James served his country in the U.S. Army Infantry stationed in Germany and was transferred to the U.S. Army Reserves upon his return to the U.S. He retired from Copper and Brass Sales in Cleveland, OH. James was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and he was loved by the members of the Chapel at Tinkers Creek.

Preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; grandson, Robbi Lee Rossi; and siblings; he is survived by his children, Joyce Wollet, James S. Moore (Cindy) and Marlene Finney (John Shirley); grandchildren, Michelle, Vanessa and Russell Wollet; Matthew Jon and Kris Bassinger, Rebecca Serrano and Megan Rossi-Finney; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Zachary, Ethan, Everett, Amber, Alex, Wyatt, Hannah, Jonny, Julianna, John, Josiah, Mason, Elise and Mia.

The family has held a celebration of life to honor James. He will be interred with military honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
