STOW - James "Chip" Seaver, Jr., 46, of Stow, died September 21, 2012 after a courageous 6 year battle with cancer.
He was born January 26, 1966 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Jim was a member of the West Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses of Stow. He was employed by the City of Munroe Falls until October 2010. Jim was a loyal and loving husband, father, and son.
Jim loved to entertain, whether cooking, painting, or playing blue-grass on his banjo. His quick wit was always refreshing.
As a lifelong servant of Jehovah, he kept his integrity to his God until his death. His hope is with Jehovah God who promises a time soon when sickness and death will be no more on a paradise earth. (Rev 21:3,4)
Jim was preceded in death by his mother Carol Seaver of Stow. Jim is survived by his wife Tracy Seaver with whom he enjoyed 21 years of marriage; son James, III; daughters Dallas and Makayla; father James Seaver, Sr. of Stow; sister Jill (David) Heffernan of Stow; sister Jackie Seaver of Sarasota, Fl.; sister Joyce (Barry) Barbas of Sarasota, Fl., and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3924 Oneida St., Stow, Ohio at 3:00 PM, preceded by calling hours from 1:00 to 3:00 PM - Saturday, September 29th, 2012. Robert Volkmer officiating. Arrangements handled by Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
