James C. Starcher, 74, passed away on May 26, 2007.
Mr. Starcher was born in Cuyahoga Falls and resided there his entire life. He was a 1950 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and served in the Army during the Korean War and retired as a Postal Clerk from the United States Postal Service. He was a life time member of the American Legion Charles Faust Post 281 and the VFW Ralph Huff Post 1062 and was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church.
Preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Jane; grandson James Schmall and brother William Starcher, he is survived by his daughters Jill (Mike) Schmall of Columbus; twin daughters, Judy (Richard) Dell'Aquila of Seven Hills and Janet (Michael) Harris of Stow, Joan Starcher of Mesa, AZ; grand children John Schmall, Joe Schmall and Jessica Dell'Aquila and nephew Tom (Jan) Hart of Silver Lake.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday Rev. William Tompkin officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Military honors by American Legion Charles Faust Post 281.
