CUYAHOGA FALLS - James (Jim) M. Webb passed in peace at the age of 84 on September 4, 2016. Jim was born on June 15, 1932 in Akron, Ohio. He graduated from St. Mary's Catholic School in Akron prior to serving his country in the U S Army during the Korean War. He then attended the University of Akron and began a lifelong career in sales. Jim married Shirley Perritt on May 18, 1957 and they just recently celebrated their 59th anniversary.

Preceded in death by parents Mary N. and James E. Webb, sisters Helen Beard and Rosemary Johnson and his dearest granddaughter Trina Dawn Schucker. He is survived by his beloved wife Shirley M., sister Rita M. Lyons; daughters Kathy A. Ruell and Lori L. Trowbridge, son Thomas J. Webb, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Jim will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a Korean war veteran, a humorist, and a hard worker who was currently employed by United Dental in Tallmadge.

The family will receive visitors Thursday, September 8 from 4-7 pm in Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be performed Friday, September 9 at 10 am in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1761 2nd St. Cuyahoga Falls. Private interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
