Janet Nabors

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Janet M. Nabors passed away August 23, 2014.
Janet was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 13, 1926 and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1944. Janet loved music and belonged to the Akron Civic Chorus; also dancing, traveling, playing bridge, and staying active in a variety of organizations. She was second vice president of the Civic Theater's Women's Guild, which raised funds to help in the renovation of the downtown showplace. She was noted for her cheerful personality and positive outlook on life.

Preceded in death by husband John and son, Dr. Michael Wills Nabors, she is survived by her children, Dr. Martha L Nabors of Charleston, SC and Dr. John "J.T." Nabors of Cuyahoga Falls and grandchildren, Michael, Andrew and David and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, August 26 at 11:00a.m. in St. John's Episcopal Church, 2220 Second Street, Cuyahoga Falls , Father Zeke Coughlin officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice in her memory.
