Janet Lee Wade

Olmsted FALLS – Janet Wade, 69, went home to be with the Lord on January 23, 2022, due to complications from pneumonia. She was the daughter of the late Robert Paul and Alice Lorraine Wade, and was born on October 1, 1952, in Akron, Ohio. Janet graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1970. In 1985, Janet was in a debilitating car accident and later developed MS and has been in nursing care for 31 years.  

Janet will be missed by her daughter, Jennifer (Eric) Caudill; son, Rick (Erica) Smith; grandchildren, Tylor (Brigitte), Erica (Jake), Kaitlyn, Tyler, Alyssa, Alyson, Christian, Matthew, and Jenna; great-grandchildren, Abel, Allyona, Ryleigh, Aston, and Grayson; sisters, Cheryl (James) Boughman and Carol (William) Jackson; and many family and friends.

In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society

Per Janet’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service in the summer. Cremation has been entrusted to the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
