CUYAHOGA FALLS - Janice D. White, 92, went home to be with her Lord on July 24, 2010.
Born in Akron, she lived her life in the area, had an education degree, and was a private kindergarten owner and teacher for many years. She shared her love for Christ and taught many children about Him over the years. The legacy she and George left of their faith in Jesus will follow us throughout eternity. She loved to write books, was an artist, and attended Akron Bible Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother, great-granddaughter, Alyssa Calaway and her beloved husband, George, Janice is survived by her son, George E. (Diane) of Stow; daughters Mary Ann (David) Homsher of Tallmadge and Janice (Gary) Bethel of Cuyahoga Falls; eight grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5-8 pm Tuesday, July 27 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, where a Celebration of her Life will be held Wednesday at 11am.
