Jason Allen Darke

CUYAHOGA FALLS- Jason A. Darke (Waggoner), 39, passed away on March 18, 2023. He attended both Cuyahoga Falls City Schools and Kent City Schools. Jason was a member of First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls. Jason enjoyed many things, most of all was playing pranks, camping, boating, listening to music, and watching movies. Family was one of the most important things in Jason’s life, especially his brothers and sisters. Jason was a true inspiration, because of all the joy and love he showed everyone.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Camp, Fred Darke, and Richard and Mary Waggoner.

Jason will be missed by his mother, Katherine (Don) Waggoner; father, John (Teresa) Darke, siblings, Christie (Ben), Michael (Pam), Laura (Bob), Daniel (Riki), Scott (Elizabeth), Meghan (Joe); grandparents, Nancy Camp, Emily Darke; and many other family and friends.

There will be a memorial visitation on Friday March 24, 2023, from 5pm to 7pm at the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 25, 2023, at 3pm at First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls, 230 Stow Ave, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.

In lieu of other remembrances, donations may be made to Hattie Larlham, 9772 Diagonal Road, Mantua, OH 44255 or First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls.

The family would like to thank everyone who had an impact on Jason’s life including his teachers, therapists, doctors, nurses, caregivers, and especially those at Hattie Larlham.
