Jean Alexander

Jean Adele Alexander, 65 passed away September 29, 2006 with her family and friends by her side.

Jean was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and had resided most of her life in Cuyahoga Falls, graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1959. She worked as an office facility specialist for Ohio Edison/First Energy retiring with 38 years of service. She was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Preceded in death by her parents Alexander and Adele Brown, she is survived by her sister Judy and her husband Herb and Coco.

Special thanks to Dr. Esther Rehmus of Akron General Medical Center, Dr. Leslie Lockridge of Pawtucket Rhode Island Memorial Hospital, Dr. John Petrus and all the staff at the Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center on Ridgewood Road in Copley for their compassion and care.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Monday and Tuesday from 12:00 until the time of service in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, where a funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday. Interment Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to the Hospice Development Fund, 3358 Ridgewood Rd, Akron, OH 44333-6118 or the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 4904 Quick Rd., Peninsula, OH 44264 in her memory.
