Graduate of Illinois State University . Belonged to First Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls, the Akron City Club, Rotary Wives of Akron, where she served on the board for a number of years, also member of Silver Lake Garden Club and Mary Lee social club in Silver Lake . Survived by daughter Susan Crabtree of San Rafael, California , daughter and son-in-law Diane and Steve Galehouse of Bay Village and grandsons Robert Mitchell, David Eugene, and Nicolaas Read Galehouse.
Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be at Oakwood Cemetery .
