"Together Again"

CUYAHOGA FALLS – Jean A. McNicholas, 85, passed away July 8, 2018. She was born in New Castle, PA and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 63 years. She was a 1951 graduate of New Castle High School. Jean was active in the Presbyterian Church where she served as elder, deacon, trustee and youth advisor at the United Presbyterian Church and Northminster Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Falls Women’s Club, PEO, and worked as a member of the Speaker’s Bureau for the Hattie Larlham Foundation. Jean was a talented artist, quilter, musician, and an avid reader.

Preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Eleanor Boalick; husband, John T. “Jack”; she is survived by her sons, John (Elisabeth), Jason Bradley (Leanne) and James T.; grandchildren, Megan (Joe), Kyle, Allie (Bob), Erin, Megan, and Logan; great-grandchildren, Peyton and Riley; brother, H. Russell (Susan) Boalick; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Friday July 13, 2018 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday July 14 at Northminster Presbyterian Church 104 W. Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to Northminster Presbyterian Church or St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
