Jeannette Paddison

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Jeannette (Denning) Paddison, 84, passed away September 9, 2010 at the Hospice Care Center. Jeannette "Jay" was born in Akron, lived in Cuyahoga Falls all her adult life and was a longtime member of Bethany United Church of Christ. Jay graduated from North High School and was a member of Epsilon Master of Beta Sigma Phi for sixty-four years. She had compassion for people and animals and was a very generous person and a hard worker. Jay and her husband, Bob, started their business careers by opening Bob's Kozy Kitchen on E. Waterloo Rd. in Akron. After they sold the business, they started RM Paddison Company on N. Main St. in Akron, a Restaurant Equipment Supplier. They sold the company in the 80's and retired.

Jay was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Paddison and sisters, Harriet Gallagher and Bette Mick and is survived by her brother, Lloyd Denning of Oneida, NY; sister Delores "Dee" Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.
A special thank you to her caregivers at Sunrise Assisted Living of Cuyahoga Falls Reminisce Unit and the staff at the Hospice Care Center. Also to her aids from Community Caregivers of Cuyahoga Falls and her dear friend Pastor Kirk Bruce and Family.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, Pastor Kirk Bruce officiating. Entombment Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call beginning at 11:00 am Thursday at the Funeral Home and the ladies of Epsilon Master of Beta Sigma Phi will conduct a Ritual at 12:30 pm Thursday. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the Hospice Care Center 3358 Ridgewood Road Akron, OH 44333. Arrangements handled by Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
