Jerome Smith

CUYAHOGA FALLS – Jerome “Jerry” Smith, 70, passed away September 27, 2018.

He was a lifelong Cuyahoga Falls resident. Jerry was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He retired from the City of Cuyahoga Falls after 28 years. Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting, auto mechanics, music, car shows, NASCAR, traveling and spending time with his family. He was a member of the American Legion and was a volunteer firefighter for Northampton Township. Jerry was a friend to all and was always willing to lend a hand.

Preceded in death by his father, Jerome C.; he is survived by his mother, Dorothy; wife of 35 years, Lynn; children, Richard (Tina) Smith, Chad (Carian) Smith, Erin (Andy) Dionne and Shawn (Regina) O’Leary; grandchildren, Kieran, Kalyn, Grant, Chad Jr., Hanna, Sydnee, Ethan, McKenna, Marina, Grace, Ariana, Kelsey, Sophia and Meghan; brother, William (Diana) Smith.

Memorial calling will be held from 5-8 PM on Tuesday October 2, 2018 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the American Legion 1601 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
