Joan Jenkins

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Joan Dunn Jenkins died peacefully Wednesday May 31, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, George (Bud) Jenkins, along with his (2) children; Jill Sias (Rick), Julie Mock (Vern) and (2) grandchildren Vern and Lauren Mock.
Jo and Bud were married December 17, 1955 and lived in Cuyahoga Falls their entire married life. Before being married, Jo was a cheerleader at Cuyahoga Falls High School and also was president of the Cuyahoga Falls Jayce Wives. Joan worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber, in the "C-Squad" as a secretary. Joan, born November 27, 1932 of Helen and Andy Dunn of Cuyahoga Falls was one of five siblings- Doris (Art) Bodley, Bud (Amy) Dunn, Jim Dunn (Bob Seitz), and Shirley (Sonny) Fanelly. She leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
After her husband retired from Atlas Fluid Components, they wintered in Arizona for 22 years. Jo was an avid Cavs and Buckeyes fan. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and was known for being a caring, sweet person by all who knew her.
