Joan Schnabel

CUYAHOGA FALLS- Joan Schnabel 85, passed away surrounded by her family on November 1st 2009. Daughter of Marie and Roy Longnaker. She was a loving mother of Pam Schnabel and Lynn (Jim) Stearns, both of Williamsburg VA and Grandmother to Kyle Stearns, Washington DC. Proud WWII veteran serving in the Women's Air Corp and a life long resident of the area and member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ. She was an active community member and volunteer with the county board of elections and avid golfer.

Joan will be laid to rest on November 3, 2009 at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg, OH at 2:00pm with a reception to celebrate her life from 4:00 to 6:00pm at the Country Inn and Suites- 1420 Main Street Cuyahoga Falls OH, 44221. In lieu of remembrances or memorials please send donations to Mobile Meals at 1063 S. Broadway St Akron OH, 44311 or to your local food bank on her behalf.
