Joan Willis

Joan A. Willis passed away on March 11, 2014 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Born in Summerset County Pa., she grew up in Akron attending Central High School, residing in Cuyahoga Falls and later in Suffield with her husband of 48 years, the late Larry S. Willis.

She will be remembered for her quiet strength, her concern for the feelings of others, and her love of nature and animals.

Joan will be dearly missed by her sister Alice M. Weiss, her children Larry Jr, Greg (Robin), Joady (Sarah) and her grandchildren Lauren and Morgan Willis. The family will receive friends at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home in Cuyahoga Falls from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, March 18, 2014.
