CUYAHOGA FALLS - JoAnn Barton passed away peacefully with family by her side August 14, 2011 at age 79. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
Born in Coeburn, Virginia, she met her sweetheart in Akron, married and resided in Cuyahoga Falls. She was a loving, caring, wife, mother and grandmother, a homemaker who loved spending time with her family.
JoAnn is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, Bill, her daughter, Patti Kilcup (Pastor Mark Kilcup) of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren; sisters, Freda Bryant of VA, Agnes Murphy of FL; and brother, Bob Casteel of FL.
Visitation (Wed, Aug. 17, 5-8pm) and funeral service (Thu, Aug 18, 1pm) will be held at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls. Interment will take place at Northlawn Memorial Gardens following the service.
