JoAnn Thomas

CUYAHOGA FALLS - JoAnn Thomas, 93, passed away September 10, 2016. She was born in Lakewood, Ohio and resided in Cuyahoga Falls. JoAnn was a very active member at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She loved gardening, Bridge, traveling and spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her husband Russell Thomas; sister, Helen Schmidt; sons-in-law, Lee Allen and R. Edward Ellis; she is survived by her children, Robert (Johana) Thomas, Judith Allen, Sandra Ellis and Linda Thomas; grandchildren, Amanda (Matt) Kenna, Jon Thomas, Russ Ellis, Mike Ellis; great-grandchildren, Britney, Melaney, Allen, Owen, Emmalee, Iaen, Kaeden, Justen, Paislee and Dylen; siblings, Rose Garrity and Frank (Anne) Blatnick; special friends, John Anderson and Lauren Mercer.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Cardinal Village and Western Reserve Hospital.

Cremation has taken place and the family will be having private services. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
