Joanne Clausen

Joanne E. Clausen, 77, passed away October 1, 2007. Mrs. Clausen was born in Greenville, MI and had resided in the Akron area most of her life. She graduated from the Isabelle Firestone School of Nursing and retired from Fallsview Psychiatric Hospital as an RN in March of 1996. She had previously worked at Akron City and Akron General Hospitals.

She is survived by her daughters, Valerie Moretz of Akron, Victoria Heim of Nazareth, PA, Rebecca Ward of Parma and Sandra Regallis of Paris Twp.; grandchildren, Robert and Eric Heim and Timothy L. Griffin.

There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, Dr. Richard A. Hastler officiating. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. 1815 W. Market St. Suite 301 Akron, OH 44313-7067.
