CUYAHOGA FALLS -Jocelyn Ann Tompkin, 79, died March 31, 2016.
She was born in Coshocton, Ohio and lived most of her life in the Akron area. Jocelyn was an avid reader and enjoyed visiting her trailer.
She was preceded in death by her husband David, grandson D.J., and Baby Boy Tompkin. She is survived by her daughters, Debra (Misha) Eckert, Denise (Douglas) Preece, Donna (Scott) Adelsberg; grandchildren, Christine, Sarah, Arden; great-grandson, Terrill Jr.; mother, Nola; sister, Diana Bliss; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life gathering will be held Sunday April 3 from 11:30 am till 2:30 pm at the Hines Hill Conference Center, 1403 West Hines Hill Rd., Peninsula, Ohio 44264.
In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 4904 Quick Rd., Peninsula, Ohio 44264. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
